Matthew Gysin

Matthew Gysin is an accomplished education coordinator and digital art teacher at One River School of Art + Design since April 2019, combining creativity with a strong work ethic in the field of animation and digital art education. Prior to this role, Matthew operated as a freelance animator and videographer through Gysin Animation from July 2017 to August 2021, where effective communication and project management were key responsibilities. Matthew also served as a theater manager at Porch Light Productions from July 2015 to June 2017, ensuring smooth operations by coordinating communication among staff and managing supplies. Earlier experience includes a position as a photo technician at Walgreens, responsible for customer service and photo printing. Matthew holds a degree in Media Production from William Paterson University of New Jersey, earned between 2015 and 2018. Personal interests include spending time with family, enjoying movies, reading, solving puzzles, and engaging in board games.
