Odette Dreyer

Odette Dreyer has extensive experience in the insurance industry, currently serving as a Technical Underwriter - Renewals at ONE Insurance Underwriting Managers (Pty) Ltd since July 2017, and previously as a Senior Commercial Underwriter since October 2016. Prior to this role, Odette worked at Missionary Medical & General Insurance Brokers CC from June 2007 to September 2016 as an Underwriter, focusing on short-term insurance for personal and commercial lines. Odette is a member of both the Financial Intermediary Association of South Africa (FIA) and the Insurance Institute of KwaZulu-Natal (IIKZN), and maintains FAIS compliance, backed by a FETC NQF - Level 4 qualification in short-term insurance. Earlier career experience includes roles as a Debtors Clerk and Debt Collector at MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company and Etlin International Trading, with responsibilities that included debt collection, account reconciliation, and cash management. Educational background includes obtaining a Senior Certificate from Mowat Park High School and New Forest High School.
