Max Voegtli

Max Voegtli is a dedicated advocate for climate action and community mobilization, currently serving as Co-founder, Organiser and Strategist at DROP Fossil Subsidies since January 2024. As an OYW Ambassador with One Young World since July 2021, Max engages with global leaders on pressing issues. Previous experience includes working with Renovate Switzerland, focusing on mobilizing 1% of the Swiss population for climate initiatives, and leading Generation B at Bühler Group, fostering a global movement for employee engagement. Max's operational expertise in process optimization and change management was honed as an Operational Excellence Manager at Bühler. Additional roles span account management, contracts consulting, policy research, and field representation. Max is pursuing a Master’s degree in Critical Urbanism at the University of Basel, building on a BA in Politics with International Relations from the University of York.
