Eftychia Avramidou

Eftychia Avramidou serves as the Health & Safety Manager of Aggregates & LAVA quarries for HERACLES Group, a member of Holcim, since June 2018, overseeing teams, budgets, quality control, and compliance with health and safety regulations across multiple quarries. Prior roles include Quarry Supervisor and Mining Engineer / Management Associate, contributing to health and safety audits and geostatistical data analysis. Eftychia is also an OYW Ambassador with One Young World and has held positions as a Junior Health & Safety Consultant/Safety Engineer and Junior Geophysicist, focusing on safety projects and geophysical surveys. Educational qualifications comprise a Postgraduate Certificate in Quarry Management from the University of Leicester and dual Master’s degrees in Applied Geophysics and Mining Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and National Technical University of Athens, respectively.
