Trevor Schonewille is a founder of Monkiri, a mobile e-learning platform dedicated to enhancing financial literacy and inclusion since October 2018. Additionally, Trevor serves as a One Young World Ambassador, participating in an annual summit focused on accelerating social impact, and was selected for the Western Union Moving Money for Better Scholarship. Previously, Trevor worked as an analyst at BlueOrchard Finance Ltd, conducting performance monitoring and credit risk assessments for Micro Finance Institutions. As a research assistant at Carleton University, involvement included collaboration with the Carleton University Center For Community Innovation. Earlier experiences include an internship at AHL Venture Partners, focusing on valuation for investments, and serving as a residence fellow at Carleton University. Trevor also taught English as a second language at Phenix English School. Trevor holds a Bachelor's Degree in Global Politics and Economics from Carleton University, obtained in 2018.
