Ed Hammontree

Ed Hammontree has extensive work experience in the field of project management and engineering. Ed is currently working as the Director of Project Delivery and VP at Atlas since October 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Chief of Engineering at WFLHD-FHWA from February 2017 to January 2021. Before that, they served as the Construction Branch Chief at CFLHD-FHWA from February 2014 to February 2017. Ed also worked at the Federal Highway Administration CFLHD as the Project Management Branch Chief from August 2007 to February 2014. From August 2001 to October 2010, they held the role of Hoover Dam Bypass Manager at FHWA CFLHD. Additionally, they served as the Chief of Contracting at CFLHD-FHWA from November 2004 to August 2007.

Ed Hammontree attended Stow High School from 1980 to 1983. Following that, they graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Akron College of Engineering, where they studied from 1983 to 1988.
