Ben Traynor

Ben Traynor is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software development and information security. Currently serving as the Director and Head of Information Security, Governance, Risk, Compliance & DevOps at DataScan since February 2018, Ben is responsible for the organization’s information security strategy and oversight of governance and risk management. Prior to this role, Ben held several positions at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, including Sr. Software Engineering Manager, where a team was managed to create SaaS products for vulnerability management. Additional experience includes positions at Jackson Healthcare, Pallas Technology, Calastone, RSM UK, and Emory University, covering a range of software engineering, development, and technical consultancy roles. Ben Traynor earned a 1st Class MPhys (Hons) degree in Physics from the University of Bath.
