Rakesh "Rocky" Mehta

Rakesh "Rocky" Mehta has a long history of working in the technology and business consulting industries. Rakesh "Rocky" began their career in 1998 as President of Global Technology Partners (GTP, Inc.), a business and technology consulting services firm. During their tenure at GTP, Inc., they provided consulting and staffing services to clients such as Freddie Mac, Empavo, and Fannie Mae. In 2000, they served as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for ZGraffiti (client of GTP, Inc.), where they managed a staff of 20-25 and created firewall/security architectures, policies, and enabled remote VPN access to transaction systems. In 2002, they were promoted to Senior Product Architect at Fannie Mae (client of GTP, Inc.). In 2003, they served as Senior Business Architecture Consultant at Freddie Mac (client of GTP, Inc.), Senior Management Analyst at Fannie Mae (client of GTP, Inc.), and Interim CEO at Empavo (client of GTP, Inc.). In 2012, they co-founded Cloudflo. In 2013, they became a Member of New Dominion Angels, an investor group formed in 2008 to capitalize early-stage companies in the Mid-Atlantic Region. In 2017, they co-founded OneDigitalTrust, Inc. and served as Chief Product Officer.

Rakesh "Rocky" Mehta began their educational career in 1984 when they attended the University of Maryland and obtained a B.Sc. in Computer Science and a B.S.E.E in Electrical Engineering. Rakesh "Rocky" continued their studies at the University of Maryland, graduating in 1993 with an M.B.A in Finance & General Management.
