Samuel Abdelshahid

Samuel Abdelshahid is the current Manager of Operations at OneEleven. Prior to this, they worked as the International Expansion Manager (MENA) at ApplyBoard from October 2020 to February 2022. In this role, they were responsible for managing marketing and sales for ApplyBoard's business partners in the MENA region. ApplyBoard is the world's largest online platform for international student recruitment, assisting more than 120,000 students with their educational journeys.

From March 2020 to June 2020, Samuel worked as a Corporate Innovation Consultant - IoT Strategy Intern at BlackBerry. In this role, they worked alongside BlackBerry to explore opportunities within the IoT cybersecurity space. The MBET project team co-created a 59-page report outlining research outcomes and methodologies, competitor landscapes, and potential go-to-market strategies.

Prior to their work at BlackBerry, Samuel was a Senior Investment Analyst at the University of Waterloo Student Venture Fund from January 2020 to September 2020.
