Maria Álvares Ribeiro

Maria Álvares Ribeiro has extensive experience in strategic management and operations within the retail and wellness sectors. At DoorDash, from September 2020 to March 2022, Maria served as Senior Manager, GM for Retail Strategy & Operations, overseeing home, beauty, and wellness categories while leading pilot projects such as Package Returns. Previously, as Project Manager for the Health & Wellness Division at Sonae MC from February 2014 to April 2019, Maria directed strategic initiatives, including the launch of a pharma beauty brand and supporting international M&A deals. Earlier roles include Project Analyst in the Non Food Division at Sonae, Operations & Supply Chain Analyst at SEPHORA, and Sales Intern at DHL. Maria holds an MBA in Technology Management from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
