Henry Au

Henry Au has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Henry is currently serving as the Chief Operations Officer at AlgoBot Limited since March 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President and Director at the Irish Chamber of Commerce (Hong Kong) since December 2022 and earlier since 2015 respectively. Henry also worked as the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at ONEFi (iPYGG) starting from December 2022. Henry has also held the role of Vice Chairman at the Algo Challenge Association since November 2022. Additionally, Henry served as a member of the Board of Directors at the Intercham Scholarship Funds starting from January 2022. Henry is also a Co-Founder of AKA Capital since April 2019. Previously, they were the CEO and Executive Board Member at Fireswirl Technologies Inc since 2017 and 2015 respectively. Henry has also been involved with the City University of Hong Kong as part of the Advisory Committee since 2018. Furthermore, Henry served as the Chairman of the Board at Amzon (HK) Ltd in 2017 and as a Co-Founder of iChef Ma in 2015.

Henry Au began their education at Queen's College from 1978 to 1983. Henry then attended Trinity College Dublin from 1984 to 1988, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering - BAI degree with a field of study in Microelectronics and Electrical Engineering. During this time, they also earned a Bachelor of Arts - BA degree from the same institution. In 1992, they pursued further studies at The University of Hong Kong, completing a Master of Science - MS degree in Computer Engineering in 1994. Finally, they attended The Hong Kong Polytechnic University from 1994 to 1996, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration - MBA degree with a field of study in International Finance.
