Sashai Jasper has a considerable amount of work experience in the education field. Sashai started their career in 2004 as a Summer Bridge Peer Advisor and English TA at the University of Michigan. From 2006 to 2008, they worked as a TFA Corps member and HS English teacher at NYC DOE. Sashai then transitioned to Chicago Public Schools, where they served as an AVID Coach from 2008 to 2011 and later as a High School English Teacher from 2011 to 2017. In 2017, they joined OneGoal where they held the positions of Director of Teacher Support from 2017 to 2020 and Director of Secondary Partnerships starting from February 2020. Currently, Sashai is working as a Recruiter at KIPP Chicago since July 2021.

Sashai Jasper has a strong educational background. In 2002, they enrolled at the University of Michigan and completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature in 2006. Following this, from 2006 to 2008, they attended Pace University, where they pursued a Master of Science in Teaching (MST) with a focus on Education.

Additionally, Sashai has obtained two certifications to enhance their knowledge and qualifications. In June 2014, they acquired a Teaching Certificate from the Illinois State Board of Education. Furthermore, in June 2020, Sashai completed the COVID-19 Contact Tracing course offered by Coursera Course Certificates.
