Roland Ferranco started their work experience in 2002 at Advanced Image Direct, where they served as a Letterart Programmer from August 2002 to April 2007. Roland then returned to the same company in August 2006 and worked until January 2013 in the same role. In May 2007, they joined O'Neil Data Systems as a GMC PrintNet Programmer but left the company in October 2007. Later, in March 2014, Roland joined O'Neil Data Systems again as a Composition Software Engineer, and their tenure in this position is ongoing.

Roland Ferranco began their education at Chabot College, where they pursued an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree from 1992 to 1996. Roland then continued their studies at Cal State East Bay- College of Business & Economics, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Information Systems from 1996 to 2000.
