Kryss Speegle MW's work experience began in 2003 at Ravenswood Winery, where they served as an Enologist/Lab Manager. In 2006, they joined Kenwood Vineyards as an Assistant Winemaker. From 2007 to 2011, Kryss worked as an Adjunct Instructor in Wine Studies at Santa Rosa Junior College. In 2009, they became a Winemaker at Lake Sonoma Winery before moving on to Napa Valley Wine Academy in 2013, where they worked as an Instructor. Kryss then joined O'Neill Vintners & Distillers in 2011 as a Winemaker, later advancing to Director of Winemaking in 2014, Senior Director of Business-to-Business in 2017, and finally, Vice President - Business to Business in 2023.
Kryss Speegle MW has a comprehensive education history starting from their time at Langley High School, where specific dates were not provided. Kryss pursued their passion for history and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia from 1992 to 1995. Building upon their undergraduate studies, they then joined the University of California, Davis, from 1999 to 2002, where they completed a Master of Science degree in Food Science/Enology. Continuing their professional development, Kryss pursued wine education at the Wine and Spirit Education Trust from 2007 to 2009, earning a Diploma. Finally, between 2010 and 2021, they attended The Institute of Masters of Wine to obtain their esteemed designation as a Master of Wine.
