Lead Mentor - BIM & Computational Design at Oneistox

Ami Nigam has a diverse work experience in the field of architecture and computational design. They currently hold the position of Head of Technology at Benoy, starting in September 2022. Prior to this, they were the Lead Mentor for BIM & Computational Design at Oneistox (YC S21) since January 2022.

From January 2021 to September 2022, Ami worked at UNStudio as a Design Technology Specialist, where they were responsible for various tasks such as region-wide BIM implementation and strategy, complex geometry and facade system design and coordination, training and technical solutions for teams and managers, and development of workflows for Rhino-Revit interoperability. They were also involved in the development of office standards, quality control, and leading BIM & Computational Design development using various software.

Before joining UNStudio, Ami worked as an Architect and Computational Designer at enzyme apd from December 2018 to February 2020. Prior to that, they gained experience in architectural design roles at WVA architects, LCC Architects, and XD Architects.

Ami began their career as a Part 1 Architectural Assistant at DPA London Ltd. in July 2013 and also served as a Student Ambassador and Student Mentor at Arts University Bournemouth from July 2011 to July 2012.

Ami Nigam has a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Arts University Bournemouth.
