Dermot Harriss

Dermot Harriss has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Dermot worked as a Senior Vice President at OneMarketData, where they were responsible for various product lines and served customers worldwide. Prior to that, they held a VP role at Goldman Sachs for 15 years. Dermot was also the Director of Engineering at UUNET and the Head of Computing at the European Bioinformatics Institute. In addition, they worked as a Vice President at Morgan Stanley and a Software Engineer at The D. E. Shaw Group. Early in their career, they co-founded and served as a partner at Lanthorn Systems.

Dermot Harriss attended the University of Waterloo from 1986 to 1991, where they focused their studies on Computer Science. Prior to that, they attended Concordia University from 1981 to 1985, where they pursued a degree in EEng and Comp. Sci. In addition to their education, they have obtained a certification in Series 7, 63, 3, and 55 from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
