Justice Desiree Waidner Smith, M.A., has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles focused on diversity, inclusion, human resources, and social justice. From 2014 onwards, they worked at ONEOK, a Fortune 250 energy company, where they served as the Diversity and Inclusion Director. In this role, they led a team responsible for creating and implementing a strategic diversity and inclusion initiative. Justice Desiree oversaw all aspects of the company's D&I efforts, including programs, policies, and community initiatives. Prior to this, from 2009 to 2014, Justice worked at YWCA Tulsa as the Director of Human Resources and Co-Director of the Inclusion Institute. In this position, they developed and executed human resources strategies and implemented a strategic diversity and inclusion initiative. Justice Desiree also served as the Interim Executive Director of Oklahomans for Equality from 2007 to 2008, providing overall leadership during a period of organizational transition. Justice has also worked at Tulsa Metropolitan Ministry as a Program Director, Regional AIDS Intercommunity Network of Oklahoma as Deputy Director, AmeriCorps as a National AIDS Fund Team Coordinator, and The Carter Center as an International Human Rights Intern. Justice Desiree'swork includes facilitating programs, coordinating events, conducting research, and implementing initiatives related to social justice, equity, and inclusion.

Justice Desiree Waidner Smith, M.A. earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Identity Theory & Writing from Hampshire College in 2000. Justice Desiree later completed a Master of Arts degree in Intercultural Leadership and Management from the School for International Training in 2013.
