Elizabeth Aboagye has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Elizabeth started their career as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Ghana Legon in 2014 and worked in that role until 2015. Elizabeth then moved on to work as a Quality Assurance Officer at the Business Management and Financial Institute from 2015 to 2016.

In 2016, Elizabeth joined Edle-Transport as an IT/Client Relationship Specialist, where they worked until 2019. Elizabeth then transitioned to Edleess, an automated business, where they served as an Ecommerce & Info Security Admin from 2020 to 2022.

From 2021 to 2023, Elizabeth worked as an Information Security and Compliance Specialist at Mildeeng Systems. In this role, they conducted risk assessments, generated reports for mitigation, and ensured compliance with security regulations such as NIST, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, HIPAA, and CMMC/NIST 800-171. Elizabeth also developed and reviewed security documentation related to FISMA and performed security assessments for clients.

In 2022, Elizabeth briefly worked as an Ecommerce Implementation Specialist at Cardinal Health. Currently, they are employed at OneOme as an Information Cybersecurity Analyst, a position they started in 2023.

Elizabeth Aboagye has a diverse education history in the field of cybersecurity and computer science. Elizabeth obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Ghana, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. In 2013, they participated in an International Exchange Program at Sookmyung Women's University, focusing on Computer Science. Additionally, they earned a Certificate in Intellectual Property Law from WIPO-KOREA SUMMER SCHOOL in 2013.

In 2020, Elizabeth attended the University of Pennsylvania's Cybersecurity Bootcamp, obtaining a certification in Cybersecurity. Elizabeth also completed a Certification in Governance, IT Risk Assessment, and The Basics from LinkedIn in March 2023. Moreover, they acquired several certifications through Coursera and LinkedIn in various cybersecurity and management-related domains, such as the IBM Cybersecurity Analyst Professional Certificate, Cyber Threat Intelligence, Cybersecurity Risk Management Framework Specialization, and Agile Project Management.

Elizabeth is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Management Information Systems, General at Coventry University, with an expected completion date beyond 2023. Elizabeth is also a candidate of (ISC)², a prominent cybersecurity certification organization.
