David Scrugham

Senior Manager, Technical Applications at OneOncology

David Scrugham has a diverse work experience that spans over three decades. David began their career at Service Merchandise as a Programmer/Analyst in 1990, where they identified operational issues and developed applications to resolve workflow issues. David also provided application support for the inventory control system and developed ad-hoc applications/reporting to aid users in daily operations. In 2002, Scrugham joined Tennessee Oncology as an Application Support Manager and Programmer/Analyst. David was responsible for software development and application support for various systems, including Practice Management, Electronic Medical Records, and Human Resources and Accounting. David also developed reports for daily operations and MTD/YTD analysis and forecasting. After eight years at Tennessee Oncology, Scrugham joined GE Healthcare in 2010 as a Senior Implementation Consultant. In this role, they assisted clients in designing and implementing interface solutions between Practice Management and other systems such as Electronic Medical Record and lab and drug systems. David developed technical interface specifications for HL7 and non-HL7 based interfaces. In 2013, Scrugham returned to Tennessee Oncology as an Application Support Manager, where they led and managed the Application Support Team. David provided recommendations and implementation solutions for complex business operations and transformed data stores to support executive decision making. David also provided application support for various systems, including the EMR, PMS, LIS, and Human Resources/Accounting ERP systems. In 2019, Scrugham joined OneOncology as a Senior Manager, Technical Applications, where they continue to contribute their expertise in technical applications.

David Scrugham attended Thomas Edison State University from 2016 to 2017, where they obtained an Associate of Science - AS degree in Computer Science. Prior to that, they attended Valencia College from 1996 to 1999, focusing on Information Technology. Their earlier education includes attending Colonial High School from 1987 to 1990, though there is no information available regarding a degree or field of study during that period.
