Mareon Smit

Mareon Smit, MBA, 6σ Green Belt, currently serves as Manager of Budgets and Contracts at OneOncology since January 2024. Previously, Mareon held various financial roles at the Sarah Cannon Research Institute from March 2018 to January 2024, including Senior Financial Analyst and Financial Analyst, where responsibilities encompassed budget development, variance analysis, forecasting, and financial reporting. Mareon also owned and operated a social media campaign and blog called Savouring South Africa, and has experience as a Graduate Assistant at Belmont University, a Marketing Intern at the University of Tennessee Center for Industrial Services, and in Alumni Relations at Belmont University. Academic credentials include an MBA in International Business and Marketing as well as a dual Bachelor's degree in International Business and German from Belmont University.
