Jim Black

Jim Black has a strong background in technology and executive leadership. Jim is currently the CEO and Founder of OnePager, a company that provides timeline and Gantt-chart presentation software for project managers. In this role, they are responsible for guiding the company's direction and ensuring effective communication.

Prior to OnePager, Jim served as the Senior Vice President at GuideWorks from 2000 to 2006. Jim led the development of this R&D organization and introduced major product advances in interactive program guides for the North American digital-cable industry. Additionally, they formed a professional-services organization to bring other applications to the emerging cable platform.

Before their time at GuideWorks, Jim held the position of Vice President at Landmark Graphics from 1996 to 2000. Jim also worked at IBM as a Program Manager from 1989 to 1996 and at TI as a Senior Member of Technical Staff from 1981 to 1989.

Jim Black completed their BA in Physics from Rice University from 1969 to 1973. Jim pursued further education at Harvard University, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Applied Physics from 1973 to 1977.
