Amka Sunthonthip

Amka Sunthonthip has over 20 years of work experience in the field of CAD drafting and engineering. They started their career in 1998 at Suntech Systems/Kratos Defense & Security Solutions as a Senior CAD Operator, where they worked on developing construction drawings for industrial facilities. They also had roles such as AutoCAD Drafter at Compass Technology Services, Drafter/CAD Operator III at SimplexGrinnell, and Drafter at Jacobs. In 2013, they worked as a Fire Alarm Specialist Associate at M.C. Dean. From 2014 to 2015, they were a CAD Drafter at NeXtier Infrastructure Solutions. They then joined Basesix as a CAD Engineer from 2020 to 2022. They recently worked as a Client Consultant at Omega Home Care Services. Throughout their career, Amka has shown a strong proficiency in CAD and engineering, optimizing efficiency and production during projects.

Amka Sunthonthip began their education at Hillsboro High School, where they obtained a diploma between 1986 and 1990. After completing high school, they enrolled at Georgia Piedmont Technical College from 1992 to 1994, earning a diploma in Automobile/Automotive Mechanics Technology/Technician. Subsequently, they pursued further education at ITT Technical Institute-Kennesaw from 2011 to 2013, obtaining an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Computer Drafting and Design. In addition to their formal education, Amka received several training certificates and certifications. In 2001, they obtained training certificates in Microsoft Certified System Engineer, A+ and Network +, and Cisco Certified Network Associate from AmeriTrain of GA, Inc. Furthermore, they acquired a Certificate of Training in Stat-X Fire Suppression Systems from Fireaway Stat-X in August 2012 and a Certificate of Training in Engineered Fire Suppression System from Janus Fire Systems in November 2012.
