Hugo Blandin is an accomplished aerospace test engineer specializing in wind tunnel operations at ONERA - The French Aerospace Lab since January 2021, contributing to major aeronautics and aerospace programs, particularly at the world's largest transonic wind tunnel. Prior to this role, Hugo served as an aerodynamicist engineer at Safran, where a master thesis focused on the evaluation of head losses in bypass duct elements. Experience at ForWind involved testing wind turbines in a wind tunnel during a 3-month internship, and a research project at LEMTA concentrated on numerical simulations of turbulent flows. Hugo also managed a scientific project to develop a flying drone using the Magnus effect while studying at Mines Nancy and had earlier experience in aircraft production at BERINGER AERO. Educational background includes an MSc in Aerospace Dynamics from Cranfield University and a Bachelor's degree from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Nancy.
