Imad Hammani is a Research Engineer at ONERA - The French Aerospace Lab since September 2022, specializing in anisotropic and directional mesh adaptation. Previously, Imad worked at Ecole Centrale de Nantes as a Research Engineer and Post-Doctoral researcher from April 2021 to September 2022, focusing on numerical modeling of resin and air flows in composite material processing. A PhD in Fluid Mechanics was completed at Ecole Centrale de Nantes from December 2016 to November 2019, with research aimed at improving the SPH method for multiphase flows and its application to emergency water landings of aircraft. Prior experiences include internships at Universidad CEU Cardenal Herrera, where numerical simulations of wind turbine erosion were conducted, Total, focusing on the aging of syntactic foams, and Maghreb Steel. Imad holds a Master’s degree in Materials Engineering and Aeronautics from Centrale Nantes.
