Stéphane Boulal

Stéphane Boulal is an experienced aerospace propulsion research engineer currently working at ONERA - The French Aerospace Lab since March 2019. Prior to this role, Stéphane served as an aerothermal combustion engineer at Rolls-Royce, focusing on combustion chamber testing and modeling. Stéphane completed a Ph.D. at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Mécanique et d'Aérotechnique, researching dynamical behaviors of detonation in non-uniform gaseous compositions while also working at Safran Aircraft Engines. Additional experience includes a position as a junior aerospace propulsion engineer at the French National Space Agency and a role as a junior experimental research engineer at the National Center for Scientific Research, with educational credentials extending from a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Physics, and Engineering Science to advanced degrees in aerospace engineering and combustion.
