Jonathan Anderson

Jonathan Anderson has been working in the user experience field since 2005. Jonathan began their career as the Chief Operations Officer for EffectiveUI, where they were responsible for overseeing the rapid growth of the company after the acquisition of Architekture.com. In 2007, they became the Managing Director of Experience Capital Group, an investment partnership focused on investments that require experience, infrastructure, stability, and support. In 2009, they became Editor-in-Chief and General Manager of UX Magazine, the most authoritative and widely read resource in user experience. In 2012, they founded Dapperly, a web, mobile, and tablet product addressing an unmet need in men's fashion. Jonathan also served as the Executive Director of Design for Experience, a community organization devoted to maturing practices related to human-centered research, design, strategy, and engineering. In 2014, they joined House of Genius as Operations, Technology, and Product, and in 2016, they participated in the 10.10.10 Health Program in Denver as a "ninja" and program lead. Finally, in 2017, they began working as a Strategic Operations & Program Manager for OneReach.ai, where they serve as a bridge between the engineering team and other business groups.

Jonathan Anderson attended Graland Country Day School from 1986 to 1996, East High School from 1996 to 1999, and Tufts University from 1999 to 2002. Jonathan majored in Philosophy and completed a certificate program in international terrorism studies, but never got around to graduating.
