Mary Nelson Morrow

Mary Nelson Morrow is the current President of OneRedmond. She serves as a Managing Director for Nelson Legacy Group in Redmond, Washington. Nelson Legacy Group owns and operates retail and office properties in the Pacific Northwest. For the past ten years, Mary has been instrumental in the development of operating policies and governance, budgeting and financial management, next generation engagement strategies, strategic planning and succession planning. Her responsibilities include outside director development, board education, and non-profit board leadership. Mary currently serves as the Family Council President.

In addition, Mary is Partner and Chairman of North Coast Moving and Storage Company, LLC. North Coast is an award-winning domestic and international agent for Allied Van Lines, providing global residential and commercial relocation services to a broad client base.

In prior roles, Mary managed the Duke University President’s house, orchestrating Dr. and Mrs. H. Keith H. Brodie’s special events and hosting university VIP’s. Following her time at Duke, she managed Anne H. Bass’s homes in Fort Worth, Texas and Aspen, Colorado.

Mary serves as a Board President of OneRedmond and as a board member of the OneRedmond Foundation. OneRedmond seeks to activate the city venues, both public and private, with more events, music, arts and activities to create a vibrant, lively and connected community. Mary also co-chairs the Puget Sound Duke Women’s Forum, and serves on the Board for All Saints Episcopal School in Fort Worth, Texas, as well as on the boards of the American Cancer Society of North Texas and Alzheimer’s Association of North Central Texas.

Mary received a Bachelor of Arts in Business from the University of Puget Sound in 1981. In 2017, Mary completed the Executive Scholar Program, specializing in Family Enterprise Leadership, at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
