Nizar is also involved as a member of the Board of Directors for EPCOR, Chair of the Board for Kanvi Private Equity, and a board director for QuirkLogic Inc. In addition, Nizar held roles as Chairman of the Board for Zafin and Redline Communications, and as a board director for CriticalControl Energy Services. Nizar's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Chemical Process Control Engineering from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Birmingham.
