Valentin Giraud

Valentin Giraud is a seasoned security professional with extensive experience in managing teams and leading initiatives in product security, cryptography, and offensive security. Currently serving as the Product Security Manager at OneSpan since July 2025, Valentin oversees a team focused on maintaining and enhancing the security of OneSpan products through various methodologies, including AppSec, CloudSec, and Penetration Testing. Previously, from September 2020 to July 2025, Valentin managed a cryptographic team at Desjardins, ensuring the protection of sensitive cryptographic secrets and secure payment transactions. Additional roles held include Technology Information Security Officer, Lead Offensive Security Pentester, and Offensive Security Consultant across various organizations, complemented by academic contributions as a teacher at Polytechnique Montréal. Valentin holds a Diplôme d'ingénieur in Networks and Computer Science from Télécom Saint-Etienne.
