Byron L. Ward

Byron L. Ward serves as the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at OneTen since January 2023, focusing on advancing employment opportunities for Black individuals and others lacking a four-year degree. Prior to this role, Byron was the Regional Director for Corporate Engagement at Year Up from November 2013 to January 2023, working to empower young adults through skills development and corporate partnerships. Byron also contributed to Ohio University's Foundation Board as a Trustee from September 2009 to July 2018, supporting the university's philanthropic efforts. Additional experience includes leadership roles at Microdesk, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Pearson, Avaya, Lucent Technologies, and AT&T, spanning various management and operational positions. Byron holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus on Marketing and African-American Studies from Ohio University.
