Midhun Athikkal has a diverse work experience starting in 2009 as an intern at Black Cat Engineering & Construction W.L.L. In 2011, they joined Larsen & Toubro, where they held multiple roles including Implementation Consultant/Assistant Manager, Senior Engineer in Project Management, and Graduate Engineer in Marketing & Business Development. At Larsen & Toubro, they implemented ERP software, re-engineered processes, managed projects, and handled customer negotiations. In 2017, Midhun worked as a Student Consultant at IXL Center and Fanatics, Inc., where they provided market entry and expansion strategies, improved capital efficiency, and developed new product ideas. Midhun also interned at the Blue Ridge Environmental Defense League, where they improved customer awareness and engagement through media marketing tools. Currently, Midhun is at OneTrust as a Team Lead - Customer Success, overseeing implementations and driving resolution on escalated customer issues.

Midhun Athikkal holds a Master's degree in Engineering Management (MEM) from Duke University, which they obtained from 2016 to 2017. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Warangal, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. In addition to their academic qualifications, Midhun has obtained various certifications in areas such as GRC, information privacy, and programming. These certifications include the GRC Professional Certification from GRC Certify, Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP) and Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) from the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals, Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) from the IAPP, OneTrust Certified Privacy Management Professional (OTCP) from OneTrust, Adult First Aid/CPR/AED from the American Red Cross, and Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python) from Coursera Course Certificates.
