Adam Powell, CPA

Adam Powell, CPA has a diverse range of work experience in the accounting field. Adam began their career as a Staff Auditor at KWCO, PC in February 2011 and remained in that role until September 2012. Adam then moved to Whitley Penn, where they served as a Staff Auditor from September 2012 to December 2013. Subsequently, they advanced to the position of Senior Auditor at Whitley Penn from January 2014 to May 2017.

In 2018, Adam joined Koddi as an Accounting Manager and worked there from May 2018 to October 2019. Following this, they joined Minteral.Tech as an Accounting Manager in October 2019 and worked there until transitioning to Valor in October 2020.

At Valor, Adam initially served as an Accounting Manager until November 2020, when they were promoted to Director of Accounting and Risk Management. Adam held this position until January 2022 when they assumed the role of Chief Accounting Officer, which they currently hold.

Adam Powell, CPA obtained a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Oklahoma State University, where they studied from 2004 to 2007. Adam later pursued a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Central Oklahoma, from 2009 to 2010. Adam Powell obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification in October 2013 from the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy.
