Des Lynch

Des Lynch has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Des began their career as an Intern at Läpple Ireland in 2003. In 2004, they worked as a Temporary Clerical Officer at FÁS Community Services Unit. Moving forward, Des joined Vision Consulting in 2005 and served as a Software Tester, Software Developer, and later as a Team Lead on the Driver Vehicle Agency project. Des then transitioned to the role of Technical Support at Axa and eventually became a Senior Developer. In 2010, Des joined DST Systems as a Developer and gradually progressed to become a Development Team Manager and then a Senior Development Manager. Most recently, Des has been working at Oneview Healthcare since 2019, where they have held positions as a Software Development Manager, Operations Manager, and currently as the Director of Engineering.

Des Lynch received a B.Sc in Computer Applications (Software Engineering) from Dublin City University in 2004. In 2005, they pursued further education at Dublin City University, earning an M.Sc in Bioinformatics. Des Lynch then obtained an Advanced Diploma in Project Management from Dublin Business School in 2017. They also hold additional certifications, including the PRINCE2™ 2017 Practitioner from AXELOS Global Best Practice obtained in October 2019, and the PRINCE2™ Foundation Certification Training from the same institution in 2019.
