Mark Bao

Mark Bao has a diverse work experience that spans over a decade. Mark is currently the Co-founder and CTO of Goody, where they lead the product and engineering teams to build a unique product experience in the e-commerce space. Prior to that, they worked at The Bao Group as a Consultant, focusing on product development and technical consulting. Mark has also worked at Even.com as a Tech Lead + Product Manager, where they led and shipped a new product and performed customer development and user research. Additionally, Mark has gained research experience as a Research Assistant at Blei Lab, Columbia University, and as a Research Assistant at the Center for Decision Sciences, Columbia University. Mark is also a Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at Onswipe, a venture-backed technology and media company. Mark has also taken on entrepreneurial roles, founding threewords.me, a viral social application, and DebateWare, an enterprise web software consultancy. Their expertise lies in product development, engineering, and leadership.

Mark Bao received their B.A. in Computer Science (Intelligent Systems) from Columbia University, where they studied from 2014 to 2017.
