Alex Aravanis MD PhD is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Moonwalk Biosciences, and as a Board Member at ONI. With extensive experience in biotechnology and research, Alex has held advisory roles at Foresite Labs and Myst Therapeutics, and previously served as Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President at Illumina, where Alex led the development of over 50 innovative products in various fields, including oncology and infectious diseases. As a co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer of GRAIL, Alex played a pivotal role in the company, which was acquired for approximately $7 billion in 2021. Alex’s educational background includes an MD and PhD in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, as well as a BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, and Physics from the University of California, Berkeley.
