George Owen has a Masters in Infection and Immunity from September 2017 to September 2018. George's primary interest is based around the epidemiology of infectious diseases in developing countries and how computational methods can be applied to track outbreaks and consequential spread, serving to identify unusual trends in outbreak resurgence/regression. These trends can lend themselves to understanding unknown existing mechanisms by which we are able to defend ourselves from infectious diseases, presenting alternative treatment pathways.
George Owen has a Master of Science in Infection and Immunity from UCL and a Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology, General from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd.
