Strategic Cloud Software Architect at Onica by Rackspace Technology

Adam Fanello has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Adam is currently working at Onica by Rackspace Technology as a Strategic Cloud Software Architect, where they provide technical leadership, evaluates new tools and services, and mentors and troubleshoots projects. Prior to this role, Adam was a Manager at the Cloud Native Development Practice, overseeing a team of software engineers and architects. Adam also worked as a Lead Solutions Architect, focusing on AWS cloud native and web application development and handling various projects for different companies.

Aside from their IT career, Adam also co-owns Barn Dance Party, where they work as a folk dance caller and DJ for parties.

Before joining Onica, Adam worked at NetBrains, Inc. as a Software Engineer, and at Ryko Solutions, Inc. as a Senior Software Architect, where they invented new products and developed web applications and mobile apps. Adam also served as the Director of Development at Intelio Technologies, overseeing software development and obtaining PCI PA-DSS compliance certification.

Adam started their career at Centor Software as a Senior Software Engineer, designing and maintaining a cross-platform backend application platform server. Adam also worked at Raytheon as a Software Engineer, contributing to the FAA commissioned Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS) project.

Adam Fanello received their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from California State University, Fullerton, which they attended from 1995 to 1998. Prior to that, they earned an Associate of Science degree in General Education from Cypress College, where they studied from 1992 to 1995. In addition to their degrees, Adam Fanello obtained the certification of AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in September 2018.
