Alan Smith

Alan Smith has over 10 years of work experience in various industries. Alan started their professional journey as a Sales Associate at Nike in 2006 and worked there until 2012. After that, they worked as a Seasonal Duty Manager at Canada's Wonderland where they were responsible for managing operations, supervising 100+ employees during the day. From 2013-2019, they worked at VerticalScope Inc as a Junior DevOps Engineer, Junior Systems Administrator, Community Support Tech, and Community Support Rep. Alan worked at Onix Networking Corp. from 2019 and has been a Cloud Engineer. Alan'sresponsibilities included managing multiple projects, moving WordPress sites from various sources, crafting CMS migrations, and troubleshooting Jenkins configuration, among other tasks. In 2011, Alan worked as a Marketing Intern for Ronald P. Frye and Co. Publishers as well as TeambuyDaily. As a Sales Associate/Cashier at Cold Stone Creamery/Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, they worked at Vaughan Mills Malls in 2006.

Alan Smith completed their B.A. Specialized Honours degree in Kinesiology from York University in 2010. From 2010 to 2011, they pursued a post-graduate certificate in Sport Marketing and Event Management from George Brown College. In 2015, they completed a course in Red Hat Enterprise Linux System Administration from Humber College. In 2018, they earned a Certificate in Full-Stack Web Development from York University. Additionally, Alan has obtained several certifications from Google, including Google Cloud Certified Associate Cloud Engineer in December 2019, Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect in February 2020, Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect in May 2022, and Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Database Engineer in September 2022.
