OnKure Therapeutics
Jyothi Mahadevan is a Senior Scientist at OnKure Therapeutics since June 2022, with a strong background in biochemistry and molecular biology. Prior to this role, Jyothi held the position of AHA postdoctoral fellow at the University of Colorado Boulder from 2016 to June 2022, where independent funding was secured from the American Heart Association to study the mechanisms of clinical PARP inhibitors. Jyothi's postdoctoral research involved the kinetics of DNA repair proteins in Dr. Karolin Luger's lab using live cell fluorescence microscopy. Earlier academic experience includes conducting doctoral research at Indiana University School of Medicine and teaching biology and chemistry at Avalon Heights International School. Jyothi earned a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Indiana University School of Medicine, a Master's degree from the University of Mumbai, and a Bachelor's degree with a double major in Biochemistry and Microbiology from the University of Mumbai.
