Mauricio Jovel

Mauricio Jovel is an experienced technology professional with a diverse background in software development, project management, and agile methodologies. Currently serving as the Release, Support & Maintenance Manager at Applaudo Studios since June 2015, Mauricio has contributed to establishing new business lines and workflows within the company. Previous roles include Scrum Master and Senior Developer, focusing on agile coaching, project health, and Java best practices. Additionally, Mauricio has worked as a Senior Backend Developer and DevOps Engineer at Onlife, where responsibilities included building Java APIs and creating CI/CD infrastructure. At luuk, Mauricio developed a payment backend platform and has held various positions in earlier roles, showcasing a robust knowledge base in Java, CI/CD, and agile frameworks. An educational foundation in computer science was established at Universidad Centroamericana 'José Simeón Cañas'​ from 2002 to 2007.
