Olysha Magruder

Workshop Facilitator at Online Learning Consortium

Olysha Magruder, EdD, currently serves as the Interim Assistant Dean of Learning Design and Innovation and the Director of Learning Design and Faculty Development at Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering. Since August 2015, Olysha has led a team of instructional designers, overseeing faculty training programs and enhancing course design processes. Additional roles include serving as a Workshop Facilitator for the Online Learning Consortium and Adjunct Faculty at both Johns Hopkins University School of Education and University of the People. As a Fulbright Scholar at Dublin City University, Olysha conducts research on online teaching and faculty development. Prior experience includes various instructional and administrative roles at Santa Fe College, University of Florida, and teaching positions in K-12 settings. Olysha holds an EdD in Educational Technology from the University of Florida, alongside degrees in Media Studies and Fine Arts.
