Ryan Y. Kellett is a seasoned journalism professional currently serving as the 2025 Nieman-Berkman Klein Fellow for Journalism Innovation at Harvard University and as a Board Member for the Online News Association. Additionally, Ryan is a media consultant and publisher coach for Blue Engine Collaborative, providing remote coaching for local newsrooms. Previously, Ryan held the position of Vice President of Audience at Axios, where significant increases in web users and page views were achieved. At The Washington Post, Ryan played a crucial role in growing digital subscriptions to 3 million and leading several audience-engagement initiatives across various roles. Ryan's early career included roles at Middlebury College, National Public Radio as a social media intern, and assisting at the Beijing Olympics.
