Peter Whitman

Peter Whitman is a seasoned professional in operations research and policy analysis with extensive experience spanning multiple organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Operations Research Analyst at OnLocation, Inc. since August 2021, Peter has also held a position as an Operations Research Analyst at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission since October 2015. Prior to these roles, Peter worked in the U.S. Department of Energy, where responsibilities included Senior Policy Analyst and Operations Research Analyst. Additional experience includes serving as Deputy Associate Director for Energy and Climate Change at the Council on Environmental Quality and Director of Market Modeling at Potomac Economics. Peter's educational background features a PhD in Applied Mathematics from the University of Maryland, an MSF in Finance from The George Washington University School of Business, and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis.
