Katja Thoelen

Katja Thoelen is a seasoned financial executive with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at the Natural Diamond Council since January 2017, Katja previously held positions such as Senior Performance Analyst at BP and Sales and Finance Director at ITAB Shop Concept AB, where responsibilities included oversight of finance, HR, logistics, and customer support. In addition, Katja has experience as a Managing Director and Operations Controller at ITAB Mertens, focusing on process analysis and financial management across multiple divisions. Earlier career roles included European Financial Controller and Analyst at DME Company and Accounting Manager at Xella. Katja holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Hogeschool PXL and completed an International Group Management Course at ITAB Academy/DRIVE.
