Tom Vanderheyden

Tom Vanderheyden has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several companies. Tom'smost recent role was as the Chief Executive Officer at OnMed, starting in September 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Chief Operating Officer at Altais from November 2019 to July 2021. From January 2017 to 2019, they held the position of President and EVP at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota. Before that, they co-founded and served as the CEO of Harken Health from July 2014 to September 2016. Tom also worked at UnitedHealth Group, where they held various roles including VP of Business Development and COO of United Health International. Tom Vanderheyden earned their BA in Management and Communications from Concordia University-St. Paul from 1988 to 1990. Later, they pursued an MBA in Global Management at the University of Phoenix from 2002 to 2005.
