Michelle Daines has a long and varied work experience. Michelle began their career in 1997 as an Associate Director for the McGill Alumni Association in Montreal. In 1994, they became a Municipal Councillor and Deputy Mayor of Montreal. Michelle then joined Triglobal Capital Management in 1996 as a Business Development Manager. In 2002, they became a Financial Security Advisor for Royal Bank Financial Group RBC Insurance. In 2008, they joined Groupe financier PEAK/PEAK Financial Group as an Independent Contractor, Financial Security Advisor, and Mutual Funds Representative. In 2013, they founded and became the President of Insurodollar. In 2014, they founded Happy Snowbirds and in 2016 became a Community Member, Mogul Influencer and Global Ambassador for Mogul Inc. As of November 2019, they have been a Financial Security Advisor for Peak Insurance, formerly with Financial Horizons Group until November 2019.
Michelle Daines has an extensive educational background. Michelle began their studies in 1967 at Holy Names High School Montreal, where they completed their studies in 1971. Michelle then went on to Dawson College, where they obtained a diploma in Health Sciences in 1974. Following this, they attended McGill University, where they obtained a B. Sc. in Marine Biology in 1979. In 1985, they attended the Labor College of Canada and obtained a Certificate Labor Congress of Canada in Trade Union. In 1997, they obtained an Investment Funds Institute of Canada from The Investment Funds Institute of Canada (IFIC). In 2004, they obtained a Life Insurance License from the Chamber de Securite Financiere Quebec. In 2010, they obtained a Real Estate Sales Associate License from Gold Coast School. In 2011, they obtained an REO and BPO Certification by REO Institute of Colorado from FDBPR DIVISION OF REAL ESTATE. Lastly, in 2017, they obtained an Advanced Training Certificate in Maharishi's Science of Creative Intelligence from Canadian Women's Wellness Foundation member of SOFEDUC.
