Maarit Aalto

Maarit Aalto has extensive work experience in financial management and business reporting. Maarit is currently working as the CFO at ONNI (Med Group Oy) since March 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Greenstep Oy as a Senior Manager, Development from May 2019 to March 2022, where they were involved in the development of processes and implementation of ERP NetSuite for clients. From January 2011 to April 2019, they held the position of Director, Business Control and Financial Services at VR-Group ltd., overseeing a team of 25 controllers and leading development projects in management reporting. Before that, they worked at Eltel Networks as a Group Controller/Director, Group Controlling from May 2007 to December 2010, where they were responsible for financial reporting, consolidation, and analysis. Earlier in their career, Maarit Aalto held various roles at Nokia Corporation, including Director and Senior Manager in Business Reporting, where they managed the monthly consolidation and reporting processes for the company.

Maarit Aalto completed their M.Sc. in Economics from the Turku School of Economics at the University of Turku, specializing in business administration, accounting, and business law. Maarit attended the institution from 1983 to 1989.
