Thierry MICHEL

Thierry Michel has a diverse work experience, with a focus on the financial and technology sectors. Thierry started their career at Robeco as the Deputy General Manager, and then moved on to roles at GE Capital and Euronet Worldwide as the VP of Business Development. In 2006, Thierry co-founded BIMEDIA and served as the General Manager and co-owner, overseeing various business lines including electronic cash registers, mobile top-up wholesaling, payment services processing, and digital media networks. Thierry also co-owned and served as the President of SRD, a company specializing in top-up and recharge services for prepaid mobile airtime. From 2015 onwards, Thierry held various investor and board member positions at Izicap, onoff Telecom, YelloCo, Cambrist, and FINGERTIPS, focusing on card linked data marketing, customer loyalty, mobile technologies, and healthcare technology solutions.

Thierry MICHEL completed their bachelor's degree in engineering from École Polytechnique between 1980 and 1983. Then, in 1984 and 1985, they pursued further studies in engineering at Télécom Paris, specializing in telecom, network, and IT. Additionally, during the same period, Thierry MICHEL also earned a DEA degree in economy from Université Paris Dauphine - PSL.
