Nirav Shah

Nirav Shah has a diverse range of work experience in the fields of data analytics and data science. Nirav is currently the Chief Executive Officer at OnPoint Insights, where they work with customers in the Bio-Pharma and Medical Device industry to improve manufacturing and operations through data mining and analytical skills. Nirav also develops statistical models and makes data-driven decisions.

Nirav is an Adjunct Lecturer at Tufts University, teaching in the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences for the Master's in Data Analytics Program.

Nirav has served as a Professional Speaker at the Open Data Science Conference (ODSC), conducting workshops and training sessions on advanced analytics, data visualization, and dashboards. Nirav has also been a Data Science Instructor at General Assembly, teaching data science to students.

Nirav has been a Professional Speaker at the Global Big Data Conference, presenting on various topics related to data science. Nirav has also worked as a Data Scientist (Consultant) for the Applied Materials Pharma Group, where they used automation products for process analytics and multivariate data analysis in the pharmaceutical industry.

Additionally, Nirav has taught courses on Business Analytics and Data Visualization using Tableau at the Shawsheen Valley Regional Vocational Technical School and served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Massachusetts Lowell.

Earlier in their career, Nirav worked as a Senior Data Scientist at Sartorius Data Analytics, where they conducted market research, developed statistical models, and supported customers in various aspects of the biopharmaceutical industry.

Prior to that, Nirav worked as a Senior Consultant at Superior Controls, Inc, where they managed and implemented automation software projects in a variety of industrial processes.

Nirav Shah's education history begins with their graduation from Himalaya High School in 1992. Nirav then went on to attend the University of Mumbai from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering. In 2000, they enrolled at the University of Massachusetts Lowell and completed multiple programs simultaneously. From 2000 to 2003, they earned a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering, a Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering, a Graduate Certificate in Biotechnology and BioProcessing, and a Graduate Certificate in Material Science and Engineering. Following these achievements, Nirav attended Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained an MBA with a specialization in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies.
