Joel Themmen

Joel Themmen has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Joel is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Onramp Invest since May 2021. Prior to this, from June 2014 to May 2021, they worked as the Senior Director of Engineering at Varian Medical Systems.

Before joining Varian Medical Systems, Joel Themmen was the CEO at LTI from September 2012 to June 2014. Joel also had a brief stint as a member of U of M Industry Liaison in 2014.

Joel Themmen has also been involved in the field of sports as an Assistant Coach for U of M Basketball from June 2012 to 2014.

Earlier in their career, Joel Themmen held leadership positions at Zywave as the Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer from November 2011 to August 2012. Joel was responsible for managing a large team and improving software development processes.

Prior to Zywave, Joel Themmen worked at EISI from 1998 to 2011 in various roles including Chief Development Officer, Senior Architect, and Senior Developer. Joel'scontributions at EISI included delivering financial planning software, enhancing core services, and developing web deployment solutions.

Before their career in the software industry, Joel Themmen owned their own company, Computer Co, from 1992 to 1994.

Joel Themmen began their education at Kildonan East in the years 1980 to 1982. Afterward, they attended the University of Manitoba from 1982 to 1995. There, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), Bachelor of Education, and Bachelor of Computer Science, although the specific field of study is unspecified.
